Dearest NUSSO,

We will be having a picnic on Friday, 22 August 2008, during the Singapore Fireworks Festival 2008. Instead of buying tickets, however, we plan to find a nice spot to picnic and chill as we await the explosions.

Farid proposes we reach earlier than 8pm, preferrable around 4pm to "chope" (secure) a good viewing area.

Farid: "Isn't 4pm v early? yes i tink so too. we will buy food and dinner together, play cards, etc."

Possible spots for the picnic include Merlion Park, the Padang, somewhere near the Singapore Flyer, Esplanade Park... Suggestions are welcome!

It will be a great start to a new semester and a wonderful time to interact with the freshmen in NUSSO, so see you there!!
