An evening with the NUS Symphony Orchestra: young and ardent music lovers bring to life an impressive repertoire, including world-famous works like Rossini's 'The Barber of Seville' and extracts from Steven Spielberg's Oscar-winning 'Schindler's List'.
Showcasing the talent of our musicians, these pieces embrace great variety, with fanciful, rollicking melodies and dark, pensive solos; a brilliant display of colours from the spectrum of human emotion, from introspective indigo to vibrant orange. Also featured are familiar themes from the musicals of Andrew Lloyd Webber, flooding the mind with pleasant memories in soft greens and blues. With this diversity of music, there will definitely be something for everyone. After treading this rainbowed path with us, the Orchestra hopes you will find true enjoyment to be your pot of gold at its end.
