The People
The NUS Symphony Orchestra is managed by the NUS Centre For the Arts (CFA), which has 23 performing groups in the National University of Singapore under its auspices. CFA manages the Orchestra's performances and external gigs, and oversees the everyday running of NUSSO.
Each year, an Executive Committee of undergraduates is elected by active NUSSO members to deal with the administration of the Orchestra.
The Section Leaders and Principals, also chosen annually, work closely with our conductors and tutors to manage the musicality of individual sections of the Orchestra.
